Description
Spate is hiring a remote backend engineer contractor based in Eastern Europe to design and implement the next iteration of its data pipeline, storage, and API for a SaaS platform serving beauty brands. The role is highly autonomous and includes customer and staff support, platform availability and reliability work, improvements to security, quality, testing, automation, documentation, and new features, as well as participation in sprint planning and project tracking. Candidates need at least 3 years of backend and ETL software engineering experience, strong Python and SQL skills, data analysis experience, and strong communication, project management, and independent problem-solving abilities; AWS, GCP, Azure, and BI tools are preferred. Compensation is listed as €60k to €80k, with paid time off and a fully remote contractor arrangement.
