Description
Spate is hiring a remote full-time contractor backend engineer in Eastern Europe to design and implement the next iteration of its data pipeline, storage, and API for a SaaS platform used by beauty brands. The role focuses on backend and ETL work, large-scale data collection and analysis, platform reliability, security, testing, automation, documentation, and supporting customers and internal stakeholders. The posting requires 3+ years of software engineering experience, strong Python and SQL skills, solid communication and project management abilities, and comfort working independently; preferred experience includes BI tools and cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
