The role involves architecting high-performance APIs, collaborating on product features, maintaining code quality through testing and clean architecture, optimizing application and database performance, evaluating backend technologies, and resolving live system issues. Candidates need at least five years of software engineering experience shipping production code for B2B or B2C SaaS products, five years of Python and Django expertise, strong relational database skills, and preferably PostgreSQL.
