Verkada is hiring a Backend Engineer to build scalable distributed systems for its security devices, including high-concurrency key-value storage, relational databases, logging and message passing, Terraform, Kubernetes, remote product configuration, low-latency microservices, computer vision features, and Python or Go APIs. The role requires at least one year of production backend engineering experience, a BS or MS in computer science or a similar field, product-launching experience, and Python or Go knowledge. The position offers visa sponsorship and an estimated annual on-target earnings range of $125,000 to $160,000 USD.
