Backend Engineer, Autonomous Construction Equipment at Bedrock Robotics

Bedrock Robotics is hiring a backend engineer to design and build the core services and infrastructure for autonomous construction equipment. The role owns 0-to-1 backend architecture, distributed fleet management, machine monitoring, autonomous testing tooling, and backend frameworks, while also driving 100,000 lb excavators. Candidates need at least six years of experience designing and implementing complex backend applications, expertise in high-uptime services, startup experience, and the ability to use modern cloud technologies; AWS, geospatial tooling, and edge infrastructure experience are preferred.
