The Backend Engineer will build, run, and improve backend services and microservices serving tens of millions of users, own features end to end, design and review services, integrate LLMs appropriately, improve reliability and performance, reduce technical debt, and raise code quality. The role requires at least three years of professional backend experience, proficiency in a general-purpose language, experience shipping AI-powered features, familiarity with multiple data systems and distributed systems, and a relevant engineering or computer science degree or competitive programming background.
