Description
The Backend Engineer will design, build, deploy, and support scalable distributed backend systems across ixigo’s travel services. The role owns backend modules, application and infrastructure performance and stability, and the adoption of new development tools. Candidates should have 2–3 years of backend experience at product companies, a CS or engineering degree, expertise in Java/J2EE or .NET (C#) and design patterns, strong data-structure and algorithm fundamentals, experience with scalable web services and e-commerce applications, database proficiency, and experience with profiling, performance tuning, and automated testing.
