Waitwhile is hiring a Backend Engineer to own the full engineering lifecycle of backend systems, APIs, workflows, and internal platforms that support its enterprise-scale service-intelligence platform. The role focuses on scalable architecture, reliability, observability, data storage, deployment, monitoring, and cross-stack collaboration, with a technology stack including TypeScript, JavaScript, Node.js, Firebase, Firestore, BigQuery, Angular, React, and Google Cloud Platform. The position is based in Stockholm and requires at least six years of web-application experience, strong Node.js and backend architecture experience, cloud operations experience, and a bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
