SplitMetrics is hiring a Backend Engineer to build and maintain high-load, data-intensive backend systems. The role involves scaling API scrapes, developing Python services, optimizing data pipelines and analytics, writing and reviewing code, implementing automated testing, and improving system stability and performance. The position requires at least four years of Python experience, strong SQL and microservices skills, familiarity with CI/CD, and B1+ English; it is remote-first with office hubs in key locations.
