Veda is hiring a Backend Engineer focused on Solana to build secure DeFi products across on-chain programs and backend systems. The role covers Solana program and service development, protocol integrations, APIs, data pipelines, security, testing, production operations, and collaboration with product and engineering teams. Candidates should have strong Rust and Solana experience, DeFi knowledge, and experience with production distributed systems; the position offers competitive base salary plus equity.

Required Previous Experiences: Professional experience with Rust
Experience building Solana programs and backend services or SDKs
Experience designing and operating production APIs and distributed services
Experience building systems that handle real money
Experience with unit, integration, and end-to-end testing
Preferred Qualifications: Production experience with Anchor, native Solana development, and the Solana token ecosystem
Experience deploying, auditing, or maintaining smart contracts
Experience integrating with major Solana DeFi protocols or building vault, lending, trading, staking, or bridge products
Knowledge of EVM smart contracts or cross-chain systems
Experience with secure key management, multisig or custody workflows, and institutional blockchain infrastructure
Experience with cloud-native services, event-driven systems, containers, deployment pipelines, and production observability
Contributions to open-source blockchain infrastructure or comfort using modern agentic development tools
