Description
Cartesia is hiring a backend engineer to build and operate the distributed platform powering its real-time voice agents. The role owns the audio transport layer, end-to-end latency and reliability across STT, LLM, and TTS, deployment performance, scaling, and quality-evaluation infrastructure. Candidates should have experience with production distributed backend systems, coding agents, and customer-facing latency and reliability; real-time media, voice-agent frameworks, developer platforms, and distributed systems are preferred. The role is based in San Francisco, London, or Bangalore, with visa sponsorship support and US employee benefits including fully covered medical, dental, and vision insurance.
