Rover is hiring a Backend Platform and Support Software Engineer in Barcelona to manage and improve its PostgreSQL and MySQL databases, AWS RDS infrastructure, migrations, backups, performance, observability, and self-service automation. The role requires a computer science or equivalent background, at least three years of fullstack or backend engineering experience, database and AWS expertise, infrastructure-as-code proficiency, and familiarity with monitoring tools. It is a hybrid position requiring two days per week in the Barcelona office, with first-year compensation of €62,722–€76,027.
