AlphaSense is hiring a Backend/Platform Engineer to shape backend systems, APIs, authentication, and shared capabilities for its mobile and client-facing products. The role leads technical direction across application, search, AI, and platform teams, owns production delivery of complex systems, and coaches engineers while connecting technical decisions to customer value. Backend and distributed-systems expertise, REST and GraphQL API design, authentication and session management, reliability, and cross-team technical leadership are required; prior iOS or Android development experience is not required.
