Thinkwise is hiring a Backend Platform Engineer to build and optimize Indicium, a model-driven service layer that runs complete applications at runtime. The role focuses on creating generic abstractions for workflows, integrations, security, AI functionality, and APIs; optimizing scale and performance; and making technical decisions that affect all applications built on the platform. The position requires at least five years of backend or software engineering experience, strong C# and .NET skills, systems thinking, and fluent Dutch and English communication. It offers a one-year contract with the prospect of a permanent position, hybrid work in Apeldoorn, and a gross monthly salary of €4,280 to €5,711.
