Description
The Backend Software Developer will develop backend components of the BIFROST cloud product in Kotlin, including live translation for emergency calls and software-update automation. The role supports client-side backend integration, collaborates with DevOps on monitoring, service discovery, fail-safety, load balancing, IT security, and quality assurance, conducts code reviews, and serves as the contact for system engineers regarding customer software configuration. The position also offers an opportunity to contribute to DevOps tasks involving Ansible, containers, and Python. Candidates need vocational training or a degree in a relevant technical field, Java or Kotlin experience, object-oriented programming knowledge, and strong German or English skills.
