PowerPay is hiring a Backend Software Developer to scale its loan origination and servicing platforms. The role involves designing and implementing APIs, middleware, database schemas, and technical solutions; troubleshooting integrations and application performance; maintaining security and data-privacy compliance; and collaborating with product, design, and engineering teams. The position is based in the Wayne, Pennsylvania office on a hybrid schedule and requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, proficiency in Ruby on Rails, Python, or NodeJS, and familiarity with databases, testing, APIs, Linux, and Docker.
