Dominion Dynamics is hiring an on-site Backend Software Engineer in Ottawa to build and maintain the backend systems for AuraNet, a mesh networking platform for autonomous assets. The role focuses on high-performance data ingestion and distribution, Zenoh-based pub/sub networking, GraphQL and REST APIs, integrations with flight stacks and simulation environments, secure asset management, automated testing, CI/CD, and distributed-system architecture. Candidates should have networking, security, distributed-systems, and production-backend experience; mesh networking, Zenoh, robotics, simulation, and Linux/containerization experience are preferred.
