Form Energy is hiring a Backend Software Engineer to develop and maintain high-reliability backend services for site-control software deployed with iron-air batteries. The role covers real-time monitoring, visibility, and control across the battery system, full-feature lifecycles, code reviews, on-call support, and onsite testing. Candidates need at least five years of experience with production backend services, distributed systems, or edge applications, along with strong API, asynchronous communication, and service-oriented architecture skills. The position is based onsite at Form Factory 1 in Weirton, West Virginia, with relocation assistance available.
