Metis Technology Solutions is hiring an experienced Backend Software Engineer to support the development of the Extensible Traffic Management (XTM) Client at NASA’s Ames Research Center. The role involves building enterprise-class software for integrated airspace management, using Java or JavaScript/TypeScript, microservices and event-driven architectures, Spring, Maven, Gradle, Docker, Kubernetes, Kafka, OAuth 2.0, and agile development practices. The position requires a bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical discipline, at least three years of enterprise application development experience, and eligibility for a U.S. Government Public Trust Clearance; the work location is NASA Ames Research Center in Moffett Field, California.
