Navan is hiring an Expense Engineer to build and ship backend and AI services for its end-to-end expense platform, including employee flows, international spend, policy and control, money movement, receipt intelligence, conversational expense agents, and admin automation. The role uses Java/Spring Boot, TypeScript, Python, APIs, databases, cloud platforms, and LLM-backed agents, and requires 1–3 years of software engineering experience. It is based in Berlin or London, with relocation available.
