Palantir is hiring a Backend Software Engineer to design, develop, and maintain high-performance, scalable backend services for operational data and AI systems. The role includes building robust APIs, designing efficient data structures and algorithms, optimizing application performance, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve user workflows. The position uses Java, Rust, Python, Go, Kafka, Cassandra, Elasticsearch, Spark, Docker, Kubernetes, Gradle, and GitHub, and requires at least six years of backend systems experience, a relevant engineering background, strong coding and communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced CI/CD environment.
