Lockwood is hiring a full-time permanent Backend Software Engineer to build and scale the backend systems supporting Avakin Life, a large-scale social gaming metaverse. The role is fully remote from the United Kingdom or Lisbon, with occasional meetups, and offers a salary of £75,000–£100,000 per annum. Responsibilities include collaborating across teams, delivering scalable and secure systems, managing risk through DevOps and testing, resolving issues, and improving development processes.
