Description
The startup is hiring a Backend / Distributed Systems Engineer to build and scale an AI-powered platform that detects account compromise in real time. The role owns critical infrastructure, real-time signal ingestion pipelines, behavioral analysis systems, database scaling, production ML and AI systems, reliability, and engineering patterns, while working directly with founders. It requires 2 to 4 years of backend or distributed systems experience, end-to-end system ownership, strong distributed systems and database-scaling fundamentals, and a CS degree from a top-30 U.S. university. The position is based in San Francisco and requires on-site work five days per week.
