Description
Toyota is hiring a Backend Software Engineer to design, develop, maintain, and deploy reliable backend services for its Robot Platform. The role also involves improving test quality, CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, troubleshooting deployed services, and collaborating with hardware, firmware, frontend, and business teams. The engineer will work remotely with occasional travel to Woven City for on-site troubleshooting and maintenance. The position requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience, at least five years of backend software development experience, Java proficiency, and business-level English; familiarity with messaging protocols, containerization, observability, DevOps, and frontend technologies is preferred.
