Pickle Robot is hiring a Backend Software Engineer for its autonomy team to build scalable backend services for task planning and robotic workflows. The role involves designing event-driven and messaging-based systems, developing in Python and C++, collaborating with robotics engineers on hardware-integrated workflows, and improving system reliability and maintainability. Candidates should have 3–5+ years of backend or distributed systems experience, strong Python and C++ or another strongly typed language skills, and knowledge of software architecture, concurrency, and distributed systems.
