Description
Comcast is hiring a backend software engineer for its Smart Home / Connected Living Camera Platform team to build scalable Go/AWS backend services and event-driven device integrations for connected video devices. The role focuses on cloud-to-cloud API integrations, device onboarding, reliability, observability, and maintaining an existing Java/Spring Boot platform during transition while net-new development moves to Go and AWS. The position requires 5+ years of backend engineering experience, AWS cloud-native service experience, distributed systems knowledge, CI/CD, and production operations experience, with preferred experience in IoT, Terraform, external API integrations, and AI-assisted development tools.
