Starling is hiring an experienced backend software engineer for its Customer Service Engineering Group within the Intelligent Operations Engineering group. The role focuses on delivering robust, scalable Java software and customer-support tools in a cloud-native environment, using technologies including Java, Postgres, AWS, GCP, distributed services, Kubernetes/EKS, TeamCity CI/CD, Terraform, and Grafana. The position uses a hybrid working model with at least one office day per week at a Starling office in London, Southampton, Cardiff, or Manchester, United Kingdom.
