DeepJudge is hiring a Backend Software Engineer to own and develop scalable backend services for its indexing infrastructure, which processes hundreds of millions of documents. The role focuses on high-performance, distributed, parallel, and cloud-based data processing, database integration, API work, code quality, and agile collaboration. Candidates should have a Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field or equivalent practical experience, at least two years of backend engineering experience, strong concurrent and parallel programming skills, proficiency in Python, and experience with SQL or NoSQL databases. The position is primarily on-site in Zurich.
