Description
The Intermediate Backend Software Engineer will develop and own backend features and services across Codacy’s cloud engine and developer tools. The role focuses on Scala, functional programming, API and microservice design, distributed systems, SQL, CI/CD, Kubernetes, Docker, observability, and production reliability, with occasional work in TypeScript and Go. It is remote-first, open to full-time employment in the United Kingdom or Portugal and B2B contracting for candidates within 1–2 hours of Portugal time zone, and includes health insurance, a learning budget, flexible holidays, and salary bands.
