Pickle Robot is hiring a Backend Software Engineer for its Software Architecture team to design and implement scalable backend systems supporting robotic warehouse workflows. The role involves owning backend projects, understanding data flows, designing event-driven and messaging-based architectures, developing systems in Python and/or C++, and collaborating with robotics engineers on hardware-facing workflows. Candidates need at least five years of backend or distributed systems experience, strong Python skills, knowledge of software architecture and concurrency, and experience with event-driven or service-oriented systems; robotics middleware, real-time systems, large-scale data, and GPU experience are preferred.
