XTEND is hiring a Backend Team Lead for its R&D organization to lead backend engineers and own delivery of high-performance, real-time, mission-critical C++ systems supporting autonomous drone and robotics applications. The role combines people management, technical leadership, hands-on C++ development, system architecture, production deployment, Agile planning, and cross-functional collaboration with software and hardware teams. Required experience includes 7+ years of software development, C++, real-time systems, Linux, concurrency, system design, and Git workflows; ROS2, DDS, robotics, Docker, and distributed systems are advantages.
