Description
Paytm is hiring a Backend - Technical Lead to design scalable backend architectures, coach engineers, and lead technology-first projects supporting 100M+ daily active users. The role focuses on high-scale distributed systems, microservices, messaging, caching, storage optimization, cloud scalability, API performance, and engineering excellence, with an expectation to use AI tools to accelerate development and architecture. The position requires 4 to 6 years of hands-on backend engineering experience in Java or Node.js, strong architectural and leadership capabilities, and preferably a bachelor's or master's degree in computer science or an equivalent qualification.
