Paytm is hiring a Backend - Technical Lead to design scalable backend architectures, coach engineers, and lead technology-first projects supporting 100M+ daily active users. The role focuses on high-performance APIs, distributed systems, microservices, messaging, caching, storage optimization, cloud scalability, and engineering excellence, with an expectation to use AI tools to accelerate development and architecture. Candidates should have 4 to 6 years of backend engineering experience in Java, Spring Boot, and AWS, along with strong leadership and architectural skills.
