John Deere is hiring an onsite Backhoe Engine Application Engineer in Dubuque, Iowa, to develop and integrate PDP backhoe engines, fuel and air systems, engine auxiliaries, and cooling systems; support calibrations with John Deere Power Systems and Yanmar; diagnose engine and cooling issues; and lead integrated systems development projects. The role requires mechanical, electrical, agricultural, or aerospace engineering education or equivalent experience, 3D modeling and project management skills, and experience with PVV, analytics, CAN communication, or engine diagnostics. Visa sponsorship is not available, and the base salary is $67,692 to $101,532 plus benefits.
