GBI Railroad Services is hiring a full-time hourly Backhoe Operator in Winnemucca, Nevada, with regular travel across the Intermountain West. The role focuses on safe and productive operation of backhoes and related heavy equipment for railroad earthwork, construction, and maintenance, with training provided on specialized on-track equipment such as tamper machines and ballast regulators. The position requires at least one year of backhoe operating experience, a high school diploma or GED preferred, and a valid driver’s license, along with the ability to perform physical labor, communicate effectively, and work with crews in varying conditions.
