Description
E Ink is hiring an experienced engineer or applied physicist to research the interaction between active-matrix backplanes, electrophoretic display materials, drive electronics, and waveform operation. The role involves experimental design, electrical and electro-optical characterization, physical modeling, instrumentation development, root-cause analysis, and collaboration with waveform, materials, backplane, controller, reliability, manufacturing, and product-development teams. The position requires a degree in a relevant field, substantial experience with active-matrix displays and related systems, and proficiency with laboratory equipment and scientific programming. The annual base salary range is $140,000 to $170,000, with an estimated total compensation range of $205,000 to $275,000.
