Description
Elanco is hiring a Bacterin Operator to independently process live and inactivated bacterial antigen in an aseptic manufacturing environment. The role covers media additions, inoculation, fermentation, harvesting, downstream processing, dispensing, final filtration, equipment operation and troubleshooting, sterilization, inventory management, and strict adherence to SOPs and Filling Manufacturing Directions. A high school diploma or GED, calculation and conversion skills, and computer aptitude are required; knowledge of hazardous waste handling, decontamination, sterilization, BPE, GMP documentation, laboratory practices, biology, microbiology, aseptic operations, and mechanical systems is preferred. Overtime and lifting up to 60 pounds may be required.
