Description
The Baker prepares breads, pastries, cakes, and desserts using recipes and production methods, measures, mixes, shapes, bakes, and decorates products. The role also maintains a clean and safe work area, organizes and labels ingredients, displays products, plans production with bakery team members, and assists customers with product questions and special orders. Candidates need customer service, baking and food-production knowledge, attention to detail, organization, food-safety awareness, teamwork, adaptability, equipment-operation ability, and physical capability; prior baking or food-production experience is preferred, and availability for early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays is required.
