Great Western Dining is hiring a Baker for its Garden City Community College location in Garden City, Kansas. The role prepares breads, pastries, cookies, specialty items, cakes, biscuits, muffins, and puddings; supports recipe and menu development; operates mixers; maintains sanitation and HACCP records; and collaborates with kitchen and bakery staff. The position requires early morning shifts, physical work involving lifting up to 75 pounds, and a fast-paced environment. One to two years of baking experience or a bakery background is preferred, along with a high school diploma or equivalent and formal culinary or baking training. The salary is $13.00 to $15.00 per hour.
