Description
Air North is hiring a permanent full-time Baker in Whitehorse, Yukon, to lead and supervise retail and baking operations and prepare baked goods for Air North flight kitchens, retail sales, the Black Wolf Bistro, and events. The role includes scratch baking, cake finishing and decorating, production scheduling, staff training, food safety, equipment upkeep, inventory and food-cost recordkeeping, and directing food preparation. Candidates need Grade 12 or equivalent, a valid Class 5 driver's licence, more than three years of combined culinary/baker apprenticeship and experience, and ideally culinary credentials or a Red Seal. The wage is $22.69-$30.36 per hour, with employer-paid health and dental benefits and other travel, retirement, shipping, and discount benefits.
