Description
Nidec is hiring a VPI Operator for its Mankato, Minnesota manufacturing facility. The role prepares rotors, stators, and other components for resin processing, operates VPI systems to control resin levels and vacuum cycles, monitors oven cure times and temperatures, cleans excess epoxy, and follows plant manufacturing procedures and total productive maintenance tasks. The position is on-site, Monday through Thursday, from 4:00 p.m. to 2:00 a.m., and pays $24.58 to $28.57 per hour plus a 10% shift differential. Applicants must be a sole United States citizen and have a vocational or high school education or equivalent; six thousand hours of experience are required to become familiar with the process, equipment, materials, and proficiency requirements.
