Description
The Bakery Department Associate creates a welcoming customer experience, answers product questions, recommends bakery items, prepares and decorates cakes and other baked goods, checks freshness and sell-by dates, stocks and inventories merchandise, and supports sales and quality standards. The role also requires following food-safety, safety, loss-prevention, and store-control procedures, maintaining equipment, and reporting discrepancies or safety issues. Minimum qualifications include any retail experience, any bakery or cake-decorating experience, the ability to handle stressful situations, basic math knowledge, and effective communication; a second language is desired.
