Description
The employer is seeking an experienced Baler/Compactor Mechanic for its maintenance team dispatched from Chicago. The role involves diagnosing and repairing balers, compactors, conveyors, shredders, and other recycling facility equipment; performing preventive maintenance; troubleshooting hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical systems; repairing components; welding and fabricating as needed; installing equipment; maintaining records; and following safety standards. Candidates need 2–5 years of industrial equipment experience, knowledge of hydraulic and electrical systems, mechanical repair skills, and the ability to work independently in an industrial environment.
