Robert Morris University (RMU) is hiring a temporary part-time Bands Program Assistant for Moon Campus to support RMU Bands with organizing and executing performances across athletic, university, and community events during the fall semester until a full-time Band Director is hired. The role involves assisting with instruction of show band, auxiliary, pep, jazz, and wind ensemble groups; supervising students at performances, rehearsals, and trips; coordinating events; and representing the band program at recruitment and orientation events. A bachelor’s degree, relevant experience with college-aged students, music and band presentation knowledge, and availability on evenings and weekends are required, along with a motor vehicle report check and clearances.
