The Montefiore Hospital is hiring a Sterile Service Assistant to join a flexible staff bank supporting the Theatre Team at Spire Portsmouth Hospital on an as-and-when basis. The role involves checking instruments before and after decontamination, packing linen, instruments, and consumables for sterilisation, completing tracking systems, monitoring instrument repairs, and checking sterilising and decontamination equipment. Physical tasks including heavy lifting are required, while communication, health and safety, hygiene, infection control, and decontamination competences are sought.
