Amegy Bank is hiring for its Banker Development Program Portfolio Management path, a rotational credit and underwriting training program that develops Credit Analysts into bankers. The program includes initial classroom training in Houston and Utah, exposure to credit and special assets, 13–19 months of rotations through lending groups in the Houston market, and placement as an Associate in a lending group after approximately 19–25 months. Responsibilities include portfolio monitoring, underwriting financial analysis and credit packages, loan approval presentations, credit risk reviews, renewals and modifications, and shadowing Relationship Managers. Applicants need a business or economics degree, a 3.0 GPA, accounting coursework, strong communication and analytical skills, leadership and community involvement, and internship or prior work experience. The program is not eligible for H-1B visa sponsorship.
