The Banquet Captain leads DoubleTree by Hilton banquet and conference events from setup through service and final breakdown, acting as manager on duty and serving as the primary point of contact for guests, staff, clients, and vendors. The role coordinates banquet event orders, food and beverage service, audio-visual and display setup, safety, costs, and service quality, while training banquet staff and maintaining professional guest service. It includes on-site and off-site events, requires a valid driver’s license, and involves physical work including lifting up to 100 pounds.
