Description
The Barista prepares café menu items using standard equipment and recipes, handles cash and credit-card transactions, opens and secures the café, maintains food safety and sanitation standards, serves customers, performs light janitorial work, and operates café equipment. The role requires basic math, calculator, credit-card terminal, and cash-register skills, reliable attendance, and the ability to multitask; a high school diploma and previous barista or food-service experience are preferred, while Food Handler Certification must be obtained within three months of hire.
