Description
The Barrels Operator supports food manufacturing sanitation and food safety by maintaining cleanliness, following GMPs and the Master Sanitation Schedule, cleaning equipment and large workspaces, completing lock-out/tag-out procedures and documentation, and educating associates on sanitation and cross-contamination hazards. The role also manages Sanitation Associates, develops sanitation procedures, reviews reports, and communicates production, quality, and food-safety information. It requires a high school diploma or GED, English communication, knowledge of safety and material-management systems, and the ability to work varying shifts, elevated heights, repetitive lifting, and in enclosed or chemically exposed areas. Compensation is listed as USD 20.72–28.49 for the base pay range and USD 22.79–34.18 for the applicable pay range.
