Description
The Bartender reports to the Bar Manager and provides fast, friendly, and courteous service while taking and serving beverage orders. Responsibilities include greeting customers, presenting menus, checking identification, recording orders, preparing and garnishing alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, upselling, processing payments, balancing registers, maintaining cleanliness, arranging displays, explaining promotions, monitoring inventory, and complying with safety and hygiene standards. The role requires a high school diploma or GED, a current ABLE Commission Liquor license, one year of beverage server or bartending experience, basic math skills, and the ability to stand, lift up to 25 pounds regularly, and perform occasional heavy physical work.
